What is in your Grow at home kit?
Inside your Jute sack you’ll find a recycleable plastic bag, filled with our substrate mix of up-cycled coffee grounds, (collected from Trading Post Coffee Roasters in Brighton) saw dust from our local saw MIll and chopped Oat straw. And our Spawn is all sourced from specialist producers in the UK.
Mycelium grows from the spawn, this is the white stuff you can see on the substrate block, and when given the right conditions, will produce your Grey Oyster mushroom bouquet. Following your first flush over the course of a couple of months you will then be able to fruit two more bouquets of delicious mushrooms.
