Or first ever display at Gardeners’ World Live - ‘Beyond the Button’ explores the diversity, beauty and sustainability of mushrooms. The exhibit contrasts the familiar white button mushroom with an extraordinary variety of oysters, shiitake, lion’s mane and UK natives. From forest floor to fork, the display highlights mushrooms as climate-friendly, accessible, and exciting crops of the future inviting us all to look beyond the button.
