When they arrive at their destination, we know you’ll want to keep them at their best until you’re ready to grow or enjoy them.
Fresh spawn: Oyster, Button &Coral Tooth mushrooms
What’s inside:
- Inside your grow bag with be fresh spawn on a grain or sawdust base.
Storage on arrival:
- Keep in the fridge at 2–5°C until you’re ready to use - use within 1 month
- PINK OYSTER SPAWN - this cannot be refrigerated. Keep at a cool temperate, not below 10°C and use within 5 days of receipt.
Before you grow/use:
- Allow your spawn to come up to room temperature before starting the growing process
Log Dowels
What’s inside:
- Inside your grow bag with be inoculated timber dowels.
Storage on arrival:
- Keep in the fridge at 2–5°C until you’re ready to use - use within 1 month
Before you grow/use:
- Allow your dowels to come up to room temperature before starting the growing process
Extra tips:
- Your dowels can last upto 6-8 weeks if needed if refrigerated. They may swell a bit and need a slightly larger hole drilling, test this before drilling bigger holes.
- If your dowels are not covered in white fresh mycelium or begin to smell rancid they’re likely to have spoiled.
