At Caley Brothers HQ, we’re fascinated with the growing ability of Oyster Mushrooms and this kit will show you how they can grow on many different substrates.  So here we have created our own small-scale kit to give you a taste of growing mushrooms from scratch.

This fascinating growing technique was pioneered by Adrian Ogden of Gourmet Woodland Mushrooms in 2004.

Important Information

While we cannot guarantee 100% success on this particular kit, by following the instructions and staying within the suggested substrate guidelines, this will give you a very good chance of a successful crop of mushrooms. After your first flush, you can try for a second flush, growing on book won’t give you a large crop of mushrooms but it is fascinating project.

What’s Inside Your Kit

As part of your Book Grow Kit, we send out the freshest grain spawn – this will need to be kept refrigerated until you’re ready to make your kit - to give you the best chances of growing this will need to be kept refrigerated and used within 4 weeks.
