This pairing offers the chance to grow and enjoy two truly distinctive gourmet mushrooms, each with its own character in both the kitchen and the growing experience.

Grey Oyster mushrooms are a firm favourite for their delicate texture and savoury, umami-rich flavour. They cook quickly and are incredibly versatile — perfect for stir-fries, pasta, risottos, or simply pan-fried with butter and garlic until crisp at the edges.

Lion’s Mane is something quite special. With its soft, cascading form and meaty texture, it’s often compared to crab or lobster when cooked. It absorbs flavour beautifully, making it ideal for pan-searing, roasting, or using as a plant-based centrepiece in dishes where you’d usually use seafood or meat.

Both kits are easy to grow and well suited to a kitchen environment. Place them in a light, airy spot out of direct sunlight, mist with water once or twice a day, and watch them come to life. There’s no need for darkness — a typical indoor setting provides the perfect balance of light and temperature.

Each kit is hand-made in small batches to ensure quality and freshness, and sent out ready to grow. Kits can be stored for up to a month in the fridge before opening.
