Why we have scheduled Post Out dates?

We hand make all our Ready to Grow kits to order. Using fresh materials our kits are left to inoculate for 21 days before being posted out. This means when we send you your kit, it’s in the best possible conditions for you to grow your best mushrooms.

We appreciate this comes with its own restraints, and means we don’t always have a surplus stock of Ready to Grow kits available to post out at short notice.

Over the years we have heard too many stories of failed growing experiences from kits that have been purchased from large online retailers. Reason for the failure of these kits could be their age and the conditions they had been stored in. By hand making small batches we ensure you’re getting the best product that is absolutly ready to grow. On the farm, we have a steady production of new and fresh kits, and post these out on set ‘post out’ dates when they’re ready.

Here’s a list of future anticipated post out dates, they may vary when we’re ready to list them on our website, and we may add a few more dates in-between, especially during busy seasons, but they’re a good guide to help you plan your future growing projects.

Future post out dates - 13th May - log kits only due to a delay in delivery of key ingredients needed. The next fresh kits batch will be ready on the 10th of June, then the 8th of July. We’ll be closed over summer. Returning for the 26th of August.

Other products such as our mushroom powders, log kits and project kits such as the coffee, book, seed pot and vase growing kits maybe available in between our main post out dates, so feel free to drop us an email and if we can we will pop your oder in the post as soon as possible.

Happy growing.
