As the fascination for mushrooms grow and we learn more about how they can help us both environmentally and a physically we find our master-classes have become ever so popular amongst curious minds wanting to know more.
Description
In this masterclass, you will gain expert knowledge on low-tech oyster mushroom cultivation, guided by the team at Caley Brothers. This session is designed to provide you with the essential skills to successfully grow mushrooms at home, without the need for complex setups.
We will cover the fundamentals of mushroom cultivation, including how to care for, store, and maximise yields for growing at home, in the garden, on an allotment. Regardless of your budget, space or experience we’ll find a project for you. You’ll also learn the next steps to continue growing mushrooms beyond this session.
Additionally, we’ll explore harvesting, storage, and cooking techniques, sharing insights into how best to prepare and enjoy your homegrown mushrooms. To round off the session, we invite you to a Q&A discussion.
