Refunds, replacements & returns explained…

All of our kits and products are freshly made, hand-packed, and sent out with care to give you the best chance of success.

If something goes wrong on our side -

If your order arrives damaged, contaminated, or not quite right, we’ll put it right straight away with a replacement at no extra cost.
Please let us know within 7 days of receiving your order, or during your growing period, and send us a quick photo so we can see what’s happened. Email us at enquiries@caleybrothers.co.uk

We’ll always respond within 2 working days and aim to get you back to growing your best mushrooms.

If things don’t go to plan at home -

Mushrooms are living organisms and sometimes they need a little extra care. If instructions haven’t been followed or conditions weren’t quite right, we can help you get the best out of your kit - but unfortunately, we’re not able to offer a refund or replacement.

Before reaching out, it’s always worth going back over the instructions to make sure each step has been followed - often a small tweak can make all the difference.

Don’t worry though - if you do get stuck, we’re always here with tips and troubleshooting to help get you back on track. Please make sure you reach out within 6 weeks of receiving your kit. Unfortunately, we can’t help if your kit has already been disposed of or if you haven’t contacted us during your growing phase.

First crop guarantee & expected yields -

Because mushrooms are living organisms, yields can naturally vary. We guarantee your kit will produce a first crop if our instructions are followed.

Think of it like sowing tomato seeds: every gardener knows you’ll usually get healthy plants, but the exact size and number of tomatoes can vary depending on conditions. Mushrooms are the same - factors like temperature, humidity and airflow all play a role.

We’ll always guide you through the process of trying for a second crop (or more), but this can’t be guaranteed as it depends on many aspects outside of our control.

Changed your mind?

Because our products are perishable, we aren’t able to accept returns once they’ve been dispatched.
