10am - 12noon.

As the fascination for mushrooms grow and we learn more about how they can help us both environmentally and a physically we find our workshops have become ever so popular amongst curious minds wanting to know more.

Description

Our hands-on 2 hour workshop includes a brief introduction into the world of mushroom growing; covering topics such as the life cycle of a mushroom, their importance to our health and the health of our planet, and how you can get growing too.

We then guide all our guests through the making process - you’ll inoculate a hardwood log with dowels. You’ll have a choice of mushroom ether Shiitake, Oyster or Lions Mane.  After that we continue with growing guidance and care instructions, helping you to get the most out of your mushroom logs.

At the end we conclude with a Q&A session accompanied with a few sweet and savoury mushroom-based edibles that we’ve prepared in advance.   Our workshops are a wonderful practical project for anyone wanting to learn more about the mushroom growing process.
